What is Baltimore CHH

• Christian Hip Hop (CHH) has developed immensely over the past two decades.  We have gone from D.O.C, to Cross Movement, to 116, to Indie Tribe, and I can only imagine what the future has in store.  Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum, it is exciting to see the genre getting mainstream attention.
• While I am not a DMV native, I am driven by a passion to share the message of Jesus.  I moved to Baltimore in early 2023, and one of the first things I looked for was local CHH.  I struggled to find artists, and when I finally connected with Goody Shepherd (FKA, Loudmouth), I discovered that the artists were abundant.

• While the circle was heavily populated, it was not very big.  The question kept pounding my head, “how can God use me to grow this”?  Many nights of prayer and trying to find my place in the industry landed me here, Baltimore CHH.  I am hustling to find these artists places to perform, specifically in more culturally secular areas, while trying to find ways to promote them as well.  With one event in the books and others in the works, this is hopefully the beginning of a massive movement!
